Why space matters

Demand is ever increasing. Every referral bundle we prepare represents a family going through a difficult time, but right now, our space capacity limits how many donations we can accept, how many volunteers and corporate volunteer groups we can welcome, and how much support we can offer. 

• Prams and cots need floor space
• Seasonal clothing needs safe storage
• Volunteers need room to work
• Bundles need room before they're taken to their family
• Weighing clinics need space without disruption

What Room to Grow will make possible 

• More essential bundles for families - ensuring we're never faced with turning a family away
• Increased storage allowing us to accept more donations, hold more stock, organise referrals and distribute items more efficiently 
• More volunteers helping regularly
• Increased capacity for larger corporate volunteer teams to support us
• A calmer, more accessible weighing clinic
• Future family support and assistance days/courses
