Volunteering

All of our volunteer roles are incredibly rewarding, allowing you to make a real difference to families in the local community. You'll have the chance to:

• Use your existing skills and learn new ones
• Meet new people
• Gain unique experiences

1. Volunteer at HQ: Varied tasks include selecting and packaging items to make up referrals and sorting and cleaning donations. 
2. Washing Volunteer: Help from the comfort of your home by washing and preparing clothing or bedding that needs freshening up before distribution.

• Comprehensive training.
• Ongoing support.
• Flexibility - we welcome HQ volunteers on site between 10am - 1pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week (bar bank hols). Commit ad-hoc, weekly, fortnightly, monthly - whatever time you can spare. 
• A welcoming community of fellow volunteers.
• A private Facebook group for communications (phone and email also available).
• Tea, coffee and the biscuit tin is always brimming!
