Pink and Green Annual Fundraiser

June is all about our Pink and Green annual fundraiser. A day where we ask you all to join us in wearing or displaying our Baby Necessities colours, to show your support for us and our mission to tackle child poverty. 

We have lots of activities planned in the build up week, and on the day we like to have fun by wearing and displaying pink and green in creative ways. 

Could your workplace, school, nursery or group of friends get involved and donate or fundraise for Baby Necessities? 

But why pink and green? 

The Baby Necessities brand is represented by these beautiful colours for meaningful reasons.

Pink symbolises the love and compassion we extend to families in need. It embodies our commitment to providing heartfelt support and care.

Green represents the new beginnings we help create. It also reflects our dedication to sustainability through our reuse and recycle ethos.

Together, Pink and Green tell the story of who we are: a compassionate, eco-conscious organisation devoted to making a positive impact on both people and the planet.

How could we get involved?

• Ask your workplace, to do a dress down day and encourage your colleagues to donate money (cash, cheque, via our Just Giving page or our PayPal link) to Baby Necessities.
• Hold a cake sale and get creative with pink and green themed frosting or decorations! 
• Host a quiz and charge for entry. Donate the entry money to Baby Necessities. 
• Go wild with a crazy pink and green hair day at school! Ask pupils to donate £1 for participating. 

These are just our ideas, you really can do whatever you'd like to using pink and green to fundraise for us on the day.

What will funds raised go towards?

Our aim is to raise as much money as possible so we can use the campaign funds throughout the year to continue our mission and support families in need. 

We regularly purchase new items that cannot be given out second hand, such as mattresses, breast pumps, nappies and toiletries. Or sometimes, we haven't been able to source required items second hand but a family is in urgent need, so we make a purchase. 

How do we send you the funds we raise?

We can accept cash or cheques in person at our HQ and we're happy to be pictured accepting these donations for your socials or newsletters! Or you can send funds raised digitally via our Just Giving page or our PayPal link).
